first night in Paducah

sorry no pics this time.
We just got home (haha, I now call hotels home) from our first adventure in Paducah, KY. We had a lovely dinner at the foodcourt of the Kentucky Oaks Mall (or something like that) and then went to see the movie 21. It was really good and the lead guy is very easy on the eyes. Anyway, we had to take a cab there which was $5 a person to basically cross the highway and go a few blocks! We probably would have died trying to walk it, but still...the price was pretty steep. So anyways, when the movie was over and we called the cab to come pick us up, we were waiting quite a while...finally a van pulled up and we ran out through the rain and tried to get in it, but the doors were locked! We struggled for a hot second before looking up to realize there was a babyseat in the back and the man driving was NOT the guy who brought us. We turn around and his daughter is coming toward the car laughing at us as we run away laughing hysterically! That poor man must have had no idea what to do with these strange girls running up to the car trying to get in!
So...that was the first adventure here in Paducah. I wonder what's to come!
