on the road again!

So, we've left Battle creek, but I owe
some pics from the venue, etc. As I said, Ballte Creek is the
cereal capital of the USA. There used to be this place called cereal city which I think gave a tour of how the cereal is all made and where you could by all sorts of Kellogg Cereal souvenirs. It's closed now so I guess I will have to live a cereal t-shirt free life.

So we performed at the Kellogg Area which is exactly what it sounds like. A basketball court, bleacher seating with added folding chairs on the court facing the stage. We had a raised stage, but since the ceiling wasn't as high as other theatres' the tech crew had to pin up all of the curtains and drops so that they wouldn't drag on the floor. We performed two shows and I think there was some sort of problem with the AC because it was HOT. The egg and dragon costumes were a little more uncomfortable than usual!

Our dressing rooms were locker rooms where they set up a folding table and put a full fength mirror horizontal for us to do our make-up. It was fun and definitely a change of pace from the Pullo Centre in York. I'm excited to see what the other venues are going to be like.
Since Paul was away during Battle Creek, Jarvis (the male swing) went on for him. I had to get a pic of us together in our footmen costumes. I don't think we look as much alike as Paul and I, but you let me know what you think.

So, now we are in Paducah, it's been raining all day and I took a huge nap because I didn't sleep well on the bus last night. Paul gets back tomorrow evening and I can't wait to have him back! Keep me posted on what's going on with you!
